Who may use Sefer

You must be at least 18 years old and verify a working phone number. One person, one account. Do not create an account for someone else or pretend to be someone you are not.

Sefer is currently for the Las Vegas area.

Sefer is an introduction, not a transaction

We are not a party to anything you agree with another user. We do not handle money, hold deposits, provide escrow, take commission, inspect goods, verify listings beyond automated screening, or guarantee that anyone will do what they said.

We do not employ, endorse, license, or vouch for any business or person listed here. Checking licences, references, and identity is your responsibility.

What you may not post

• Anything false, or a listing for something you do not have.
• Requests for payment before an in-person meeting, or for gift cards, wire transfers, or cryptocurrency.
• Immigration services promising a specific outcome, or offered by anyone who is not a licensed attorney or accredited representative.
• Housing advertisements stating a preference based on race, religion, national origin, sex, family status, or disability — including a preference meant kindly.
• Weapons, drugs, counterfeit goods, sexual services, or anything unlawful in Nevada.
• Another person's phone number, address, photograph, or immigration status without their consent.
• Repeated identical posts, or posts placed in a category they do not belong to.

Your content

What you post stays yours. You give Sefer permission to display, store, and translate it so the site can work, and to keep a copy after removal where needed for safety records.

You are responsible for what you post being true and lawful.

Screening and removal

Every submission is screened automatically before it appears, and may be published, held for review, or refused. We may also remove anything, at any time, if we believe it endangers someone here.

We will tell you why, in your language. If we get it wrong, say so — that is how the screening improves.

Screening is imperfect and is not a guarantee that a listing is honest.

Contact and phone numbers

Your phone number is never shown to another user. All contact runs through messages on Sefer.

Messages are automatically checked for known scam patterns so we can warn the person receiving them. We do not read your conversations for any other purpose.

Housing

United States fair housing law applies to advertisements, including these. You may not state a preference for or against protected groups when advertising a home, and describing your ideal neighbour by ethnicity or religion is exactly what the law prohibits.

Advertising property on behalf of someone else may require a Nevada real estate licence.

Shanta — travelers carrying goods

Shanta connects someone sending something with a traveler going the same way. Sefer arranges nothing, carries nothing, inspects nothing, and holds no payment.

A traveler must see everything packed and may not accept sealed or pre-packaged items. Both people are responsible for compliance with customs, airline rules, and the law of both countries.

If you carry something for another person, you are the person legally answerable for it at the border. Do not accept anything you have not seen.

Suspension

We may suspend or remove an account that breaks these terms, or that we believe is being used to defraud people here. Where someone has been harmed, we may cooperate with law enforcement.

You may delete your account at any time from your Account page.

No warranty, and limits on liability

Sefer is provided as it is, free of charge, with no warranty of any kind. We do not promise it will be available, accurate, or free of error.

To the maximum extent the law allows, Sefer and its operator are not liable for loss arising from your dealings with another user — including money lost to fraud, goods not delivered, or harm arising from a meeting arranged here.

Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

Changes and governing law

These terms may change. Significant changes will be announced on the site, and the date above will be updated.

These terms are governed by the law of the State of Nevada, United States.
